hey blog universe people! i'm in Calgary... (mayn, this place is really beautiful)... but, note to my friends, i don't think i'll be moving here anytime soon, or even later... some news came up and my chances for moving up here --which are a constant temptation-- have grown slim... the house by the lake, i will say goodbye to... it is a struggle to stay focused on the Call... that is to sacrifice much for the love of Him who sacrificed all... lately as well, i've been given the grace to read this amazing book, "Way of Confidence & Love", a translation of St. Therese of Lisieux's Pensees de Therese de Lisieux (Poems and Pious Recreations)... what grace God gave this holy saint! i'm amazed and blown away as i read each line of her poems... each meditation on the Lord... a Doctor of the Church, well-educated, yet humble and 'little', Therese opened the eyes of the world to the possibilities of loving without measure, the way Christ did for us... i could quote a lot of what she wrote here in my blog, but it would be better for you, the reader to get to know this simple, loving, extraordinary woman through reading her writings... "to consent to love is to let oneself be invaded by it"... ADDENDUM: as you see, i've made some template changes... please be advised of more changes to come... *smile*
