man, o man... what a weekend it's been... just came back from church... it's a good day today too... St. Maria Goretti's Day... she was a teenager from Italy eons ago who was stabbed so many times by a young man who wanted to rape her... she fought for her virginity and lost her life... however, she appeared to him in a dream and gave him a rose for each stab she received from him... he converted and helped paved the way for her canonization as a saint... pure... holy... chaste... and not an impossibility for us... so this weekend for me has been about purity... of mind... of purpose... of body... of soul... of heart... "blessed are the pure....for they shall see God."
