man, what a night! actually, it was a full day yesterday! well, to sum it up, when two people who are meant for each other end up together for life, THAT is worth celebrating! ...the morning was hectic already... me & my Mom rushed to the local mall to buy some more last-minute items, especially open-toed shoes for her... got back & went out again to have our hair done... once Archie picked me up and dropped me off to the 'bridesmaids' meeting place' (is there a term i should use for this?) ---the bride's sister's house-- my makeup was done... (thanks Rho! thanks to MAC) ...we rushed to the church... *deep breath* ...and we were able to start on time... however, the bride and groom couldn't wait and were in tears before the ceremony began... *aww* ...we all did out parts well... the glitches are NOT worth mentioning... after all, love and charity must be our motto... reception was a whole different ballgame... but it was PAARTTY time!... the speeches and toasts were well done especially from the best man, my man Ritchie! and from the maid of honor, the oh-so-gorgeous Michelle! (i hope you kept that placecard)... of course, the dancing was good... it was retro night, so the tunes were cool like ice... *yeah* ...we all got home late *duh* but we all had fun... i was able to finally see my niece Isabela (she is a doll!) and chat a bit with old friends... all in all, it was an awesome experience... i am not teary-eyed or ecstatic, but i am relieved and am looking forward to caring for my new sister, Weng... welcome to the family!
