it's good to be here

today i got up... and, i also got a brand-spankin' new perspective on life: it's good to be here. whether or not this is my last sacred blessing, today is surely amazing. all i know is i'll be smiling from today on... i pull up a chair, look up. i close my eyes in the quiet amidst the bustle, and embrace the unseen joy. i listen for that incessant thug in my heart. i toss away old ways, and in sunrise of a new day, i am still and stay... right where i'm supposed to be.
