greatness... i borrowed "The Greatest Story Ever Told" recently, and so far i'm OK... the greatness wasn't from the film itself but always, in movies like this, the portrayal of Christ from every angle, whether He is a rabbi, a healer, a miracle worker, a prophet, or an all-around fun guy... His greatness transcends any cinematographic technique or thespian artistry... it amazes me how many films have attempted to show God in His many facets, particularly in and through Jesus... history itself is the best filmmaker... the latest films in our century must do more than theatrics... as an avid fan of the movies, which i believe can be good tools for teaching, i want to see and hear the TRUTH... now that would be a great thing...
