hello again people! hmmm... let's see... how do i condense 4 days worth of lost blogging... hmmmmm... *ding* idea! i will summarize... so here goes:... i just got back from Calgary yesterday... went to help conduct a retreat for our Christian singles support group (CFC-Singles for Christ) at Camp Chestermere (man, what fabulous shoreline properties!)... and we had fun, fun, fun! (summarized enough for ya?)... but you guys should check it out... Cow Town is a cool place... i took the Greyhound and i had a crappy bus on the way... AND back(!)... the first bus had no radio, and no doors for the luggage/hand-carry cabin (just 3 stretchable cords)... while the bus on the way back to E-Town was sooo slow, and crowded (the early bus got cancelled, and so you get the picture)... some poor lady with a baby & 2 toddlers couldn't go home with us... *grrr* ...but i was just too tired to get mad... coming home i was 30 min late, (my poor friends waited at the bus depot for 15 min) rushed to pick up my fatigued, sore-throated parents from the airport (who were unfortunately unaware of my mis-adventure)... had a very late dinner... and plopped into bed till 10 AM this morning... whew! ...man, am i relieved it's a nice Monday holiday to sleep-in... thanks be to God anyway!... Thursday and Friday is a bit of a blur, but all i did pretty much was prepare for my trip... nothing special happened (although i was still eating that 2 day-old grilled salmon... yum!)...
