fresh & simple... this past Sunday, i saw my godson walk, farther than his own room, for the first time, in the park... and i was soooooo happy!... he grabbed my hand and we walked, and walked and walked, until we both got tired... *sigh* it's a great feeling to be a child... i saw his face light up with this huge smile and sparkling eyes when he saw he could keep going, almost running on the green grass, bumping into tree stems, dodging my blocks whenever he would go to the bushes... man! what a feeling!... i wish we could all be as excited and simple-minded as children... our world is complicated enough, we need not add to the stress and difficulty of life... like my godson, and many children out there, life is exciting, full of surprises, filled with promise, despite the reality of hardship and pain which are part & parcel of being human... choose to be happy...
